Archery

Facilitator: AECWA – Maadi House

Description: Archery is the sport, practice, or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. The word comes from the Latin arcus, meaning bow. Historically, archery has been used for hunting and combat. In modern times, it is mainly a competitive sport and recreational activity. Archery is all about concentration. Women have less trouble concentrating than men; they are calmer and more focused. Therefore, Archery is a great sport that not only fits a woman’s characteristic but they excel at it as it comes naturally and effortlessly.

Played on a miniature tennis court, pickleball will get your heart pumping and surely give you a laugh or two. The best part is – anyone can play!

In addition to learning the rules and gameplay of pickleball, students will learn how to communicate and cooperate with others. Doubles matches require a lot of partner engagement and respectful self-reffing between teams.
